ABOUT US

OFFSET Studio was founded by Yaelle De Vroey. Having lived around the world, in Alicante, Dakar, Brussels, London, New York and beyond, she brings a distinct cultural and personal sensitivity to her work. The studio has a way of grounding each project within its own context and constraints, letting the site and the brief shape the outcome rather than imposing a fixed formula.

Yaelle began her academic training at the University of the Arts London (UAL), studying for a BA in Interior Design, before pursuing an MA in Interior Design and Architecture at the College of Arts and Design (CAD) in Brussels. She went on to work across a range of studios and architectural practices, including ICEberg Architecture, AFC Collection, and Cohabs. In her most recent role, she led the interior design and project management for Cohabs US portfolio, based in New York overseeing an ambitious pipeline of 50 homes over several years.

Over five years working within different professional structures, and alongside mentors such as Lionel Jadot, she stepped into independence to develop her own identity within the interior design field, giving rise to OFFSET Studio.

OFFSET works through an open, undefined process rooted in intelligent bricolage, testing and adjusting while staying conceptually clear. This translates into a genuine curiosity for materials, favouring stock and recycled options and mixing palettes that don't obviously belong together until they find their own balance. That same spirit carries into every project, whatever its scale or ambition.
